Growing up in the Caribbean - with its diverse history, architecture and striking cultural influences from both eastern and western countries - together form an integral part of my unique design language. I love colours, materials and mathematics. Interconnecting aesthetic imagination and internal structure, spaces evolve as inspiring and practical interiors.
Embracing my passion for science and design, I renounced a career as Art teacher and Engineering lecturer to study Interior Design at London Metropolitan University. After qualifying, I worked for luxury companies - Fired Earth and Porcelanosa - as a Home Colour Consultant and Bathroom Designer. In 2012, I was invited to re-join Fired Earth as the London Regional Kitchen and Bathroom Designer.
As time progressed, I realised the disconnect between presenting beautiful proposals and what was being so badly executed. Determined to bridge the design and build gap I founded my own practice - Design & Conker. Now twenty years on, I offer clients a range of professional Interior Spatial Planning and Design Management Services. Collaborating with other like-minded industry specialists, we look after every aspect of your interior design project, from concept to completion.
